Quality Control
Charlotte's foundry operation is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified metal casting facility. Our process controls begin with the monitoring of the incoming raw materials we use. We use an ATAS system for metallurgical process control and iron quality is verified through constant sampling and Spectrographic analysis. With our in-house lab, we can perform tensile testing, hardness testing and micro-structural evaluation. MAGMA Software is used for modeling during casting design and tooling development phase. Dimensional accuracy of our tooling and final product are verified through digital scanning technology and CMM. Visual inspection, prior to packaging, helps to assure us that your product will arrive, at your door, just as you expect it.
